Project target beneficiaries input in the design phase of a project not only clarifies beneficiaries expectations, but allows for effective impact evaluating and monitoring. I design or review projects to make sure there is adequate representation of the target group expectations, and clarity of these expectations throughout the whole phase of a project. If you are wondering or you are having problems with visibility of your target beneficiaries, individuals or partners, I am in a good position to help your make healthy and effective progress.
I use multiple approaches and methods drawn from anthropology, development, and public health in this participatory project design. Depending on the project level of design and situation, I may visits both partners (benefiaries, implementing partner, and donor) for brief interaction and review of activities of past projects. These visits help in situating the new project into the strengths and weaknesses of the implementing partner at the same time, highlighting the numerous needs of a potential beneficiary. The how, why, and what of this process are systematically workout with your organization within the agreed time space.
